Before you paste

• ☐ Would I say this in a **public forum**? If no, think twice.
• ☐ Did I **remove names, IDs, passwords, API keys**?
• ☐ Is this **someone else's private data** (customer, student, patient)?
• ☐ Am I on a **work account** with logging/retention policies?
• ☐ Could this text **identify me or my company** if leaked?

Safer alternatives

• Replace real names with "Person A," redact account numbers
• Summarize the situation instead of dumping raw emails
• Use **local/offline tools** for highly sensitive drafts
• Ask IT which **approved AI tools** your org allows
