Narration, accessibility, product voiceovers, IVR prototypes, and learning how voice direction (pace, tone, pronunciation) affects quality.
#When not to
Situations that require a verified human recording, or any use of someone else’s voice without consent. Cloning without permission can violate law and platform terms.
#Quality checklist
- Clean script with pronunciation hints for names and acronyms
- Consistent microphone/sample quality if cloning
- Listen for pacing, stress, and unnatural pauses
- Confirm commercial license and data retention for uploaded voice samples
- Disclose synthetic audio when listeners might assume a human recorded it
