Pick a persona, aim for week-1 and week-4 outcomes, then tick the 12-skill checklist. Each skill links to the path or lesson that unlocks it — so this page stays citeable as a map, not a pile of tips.

Persona roadmaps
Everyday learner
- Week 1: Name three AI products you already use, list two things models invent, and practice one safe-sharing habit.
- Week 4: Run a job-first prompt loop (context → draft → check) on a real task without pasting secrets.
Student
- Week 1: Explain AI vs older software in plain English and spot one biased or misleading answer.
- Week 4: Use AI as a study partner with citations: draft → verify against sources → rewrite in your voice.
Builder
- Week 1: Explain tokens, temperature, and when an LLM is the wrong tool — then call one API safely.
- Week 4: Ship a tiny RAG or tool-using prototype with a written eval checklist and a privacy note.

- Choose one persona path and ignore the rest for two weeks.
- After each lesson, write one sentence: what you can check that you could not check before.
- When a skill is “done,” you can demo it without reopening the lesson — then move on.
